CEDEPCA programs are designed to have the greatest long term impact on individuals, communities, and society in Central America. Education gives individuals the tools to control their own destiny, to improve their lives, and to address problems and challenges in their society. Clients of CEDEPCA, whether a pastor from a remote Mayan village, or a church visitor from the U.S., are empowered to be agents of change upon return to their home communities.
CEDEPCA's goal is to help those who are most without power and privilege. In the context of Central American society, a key goal of CEDEPCA has been to offer people the tools to eradicate violence and injustice in their world, especially violence against women and children. |
